What is a UX Designer Like in Singapore
Are you a UX designer? Do you really know what is a UX designer like? For me, I study Industry Design in my college life. I was educated with a lot of design theories by our teachers, including UCD(User Centered Design). I also know user experience design and service design with several design projects. The design thinking is the same.
Usually, when you are interested in something and desire to realize it. You need to sketch your idea on paper with a few instruction words, it is a draft.
Then you will dig it up to make your idea more visualized and concreted. Computer softwares would be more easy to revise. For a mobile app development. You can generate a prototype, the outline of the pages, and information architecture wireframes with rough layout to show the interaction relationship clearly.
Once you finish the wireframe, you need do a quick usability testing. Interviewees do a list of tasks following the monitor’s guide. The whole process will be recorded and analyzed. Usability testing can help you find some unnoticed issues.
Visual design is usually done by UI designer, or you need to add some color to your page. Color has meaning and can give some personality to your design, making it not ordinary in the internet sea. A carefully polished effect is generated finally. You can deliver it to the developer for further coding.
Above is a general work flow for a UX designer.
